Neonatal Critical Care

Advanced NICU & Newborn Intensive Care in Patiala

Some newborns require specialised intensive care immediately after birth or during the first weeks of life. Dr. Vivneet’s Vardaan Hospital provides NICU care in Patiala for premature, low-birth-weight, sick and critically ill newborns.

Our neonatal team is supported by facilities for advanced respiratory support, continuous monitoring, therapeutic hypothermia, aEEG/CFM brain monitoring, neonatal transport and other specialised neonatal interventions according to each baby’s clinical requirements

Every newborn is assessed individually, and treatment decisions are based on the baby’s gestation, diagnosis, clinical condition and response to therapy.

What Sets Us Apart

Advanced Neonatal Support

Depending upon the newborn’s clinical condition, specialised neonatal support available at the hospital includes conventional neonatal ventilation, high-frequency ventilation, CPAP/HFNC, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, therapeutic hypothermia, aEEG/CFM monitoring, neonatal transport and bedside monitoring. Availability of technology is only one part of intensive care. Appropriate patient selection, continuous clinical assessment, trained nursing care and timely medical decisions remain central to neonatal management.
